November 2010
At the Cornerhouse Independent Cinema in Manchester there was a fabulous launch event of a short film about MTFC for adolescents. 5 sites had been involved with around 10 young people contributing to the filming. Some young people, foster carers, clinical staff and one birth parent all joined the National Implementation Team in Manchester for this first viewing of the DVD which was put together by Whitewood and Fleming, a media company based in Cumbria. It tells the viewer, first hand, just what it is like to be on the programme with many of the young people giving their own personal views. Consent has been given for other MTFC-A sites to be able to use this with other young people who may be considering coming onto the programme.
